## Section 1 Bureau of Land Management land acquisition data

- <del>Not later than 120 days after the date on which the President submits to Congress the budget </del><ins>The Secretary </ins>of the <del>United States for fiscal year 2020, </del><ins>Interior (acting through </ins>the <del>Secretary </del><ins>Director </ins>of the <del>Interior shall submit to Congress a report that describes—</del><ins>Bureau of Land Management) shall—</ins>
- (1) <del>all Federal </del><ins>collect centralized data on </ins>land <del>holdings under </del><ins>acquired for administration by </ins>the <del>jurisdiction </del><ins>Bureau </ins>of <ins>Land Management using amounts from </ins>the <del>Secretary </del><ins>Land and Water Conservation Fund established under section 200302 </ins>of <del>the Interior; and</del><ins>title 54, United States Code, including data on—</ins>
  - (A) <ins>the method used for the acquisition; and</ins>
  - (B) <ins>the type of interest acquired;</ins>
- (2) <del>the total cost of maintaining </del><ins>not later than 1 year after </ins>the <del>Federal land holdings described under paragraph (1) for each </del><ins>date </ins>of <del>fiscal years 2017 through 2019, including an accounting </del><ins>enactment </ins>of <del>holdings </del><ins>this Act, </ins>and <del>expenditures by each Federal agency with respect </del><ins>annually thereafter, submit </ins>to <ins>Congress a report describing </ins>the <del>land holdings.</del><ins>information collected under paragraph (1); and</ins>
- (3) <ins>develop guidance to ensure that land acquisition data collected under paragraph (1) is entered correctly and properly coded in the data system of the Bureau of Land Management.</ins>
