## Section 1 Amendment

- The Virgin Islands of the United States Centennial Commission Act (Public Law 114–224) is amended—
- (1) in section <del>4, </del><ins>7(b), </ins>by <del>adding at the end the following new subsection:</del><ins>striking “January 31, 2018” and inserting “January 31, 2019”; and</ins>
  - <del>“(i) Failure To appoint—If the Governor of the Virgin Islands of the United States or the designee of the Governor declines to make or does not make the appointment of a member by the deadline described under subsection (c), that member shall be appointed by the Delegate to the House of Representatives from the United States Virgin Islands.”</del>
- (2) in section <del>7(b), </del><ins>10, </ins>by striking <del>“January 31, </del><ins>“September 30, </ins>2018” and inserting <del>“January 31, 2019”;</del><ins>“September 30, 2019”.</ins>
- (3) <del>in section 10, by striking “September 30, 2018” and inserting “September 30, 2019”; and</del>
- (4) <del>by striking section 11.</del>
