## Sec. 2 Compliance with Lacey Act Amendments of 1981

- <del>The Lacey Act Amendments of 1981 (16 U.S.C. 3371 et seq.) and section 42 </del><ins>Section 5 </ins>of <del>title 18, United States Code, shall not apply with respect to any water transfer </del><ins>Public Law 112–237 (126 Stat. 1629) is amended </ins>by <ins>inserting after “zebra mussels” </ins>the <del>North Texas Municipal Water District </del><ins>following: “and other fish, wildlife, </ins>and <del>the Greater Texoma Utility Authority using only closed conveyance systems from the </del><ins>plants present in </ins>Lake Texoma <del>raw water intake structure to treatment facilities at which all genera and species </del><ins>that are </ins>prohibited <del>in accordance with </del><ins>under section 3 of </ins>such Act <ins>(16 U.S.C. 3372) </ins>or <del>such section, respectively, are extirpated and removed from the water transferred.</del><ins>under section 42 of title 18, United States Code”.</ins>
